Britney Spears is on a "spiritual journey."
The pop star, 44, took to Instagram on Saturday, May 9, with a message about the journey she is on after she was arrested in March for driving under the influence and pleaded guilty to reckless driving.
Spears, who previously checked herself into a treatment facility, shared a photo of a "beautiful baby snake" after going to a pet store with her kids. In the caption of the post, she wrote that "snakes are symbolic of good health, higher consciousness, and pure luck."
She continued, "I'm so damn thankful to my friends and so many new beautiful people I have met through my spiritual journey… all a blessing in disguise… I still have to learn how to be kind to myself and the way I speak to myself… It's a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!"
In March, the "Oops!…I Did It Again" singer was arrested after she was allegedly driving "erratically" at high speeds on the highway in California and showed signs of impairment, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson previously said.
