April 13 (UPI) -- Britney Spears is going to rehab.
The icon checked into a treatment center on her own volition, multiple media outlets reported over the weekend.
The move comes just over a month after her March 4 arrest in Ventura, Calif., when she was suspected of driving under the influence.
Spears' blood alcohol content had been measured at a hospital, but the results of that test have not yet been shared.
"Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life," representatives for the pop star said at the time.
