Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College will host a day-long faculty development programme on Thursday (May 7, 2026) to enhance the teaching skills of faculty members. The programme titled “Improving Education through Teaching Methodologies and Outcome-Based Education – New National Education Policy 2020,” is being conducted under the aegis of the Academic Strengthening and Advancement Division of the institution.
College principal B. Karuna Kumar, director P. Siddhiah and Academic Strengthening and Advancement division director M. Kamaraju announced that the programme will focus on upgrading pedagogical practices of faculty.
Speakers expected to participate include former professor N. Shiva Prasad from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Madras, former director and professor R. V. Raja Kumar from IIT- Bhubaneswar, director and professor K. N. Satyanarayana from IIT- Tirupati and former director and professor V. S. Raju from IIT - Delhi.
Mr. Karuna Kumar said that the programme will provide faculty with training in modern teaching methodologies, use of technology in education, outcome-based education and awareness of the National Education Policy-2020.
