Mariska Hargitay is debuting a new look.
The "Law & Order: SVU" star revealed her hair transformation in celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel's May 3 Instagram post, which showed the 62-year-old actress flaunting loosely waved hair that was cut to just below her chin.
The chop was done weeks ahead of her Broadway debut in "Every Brilliant Thing" at the Hudson Theatre; her run is currently scheduled for May 26 through June 28, after Daniel Radcliffe takes a bow from the one-man show that just earned him a Tony nomination.
"Switching gears," Hargitay commented under the post.
The new style is a deviation for Hargitay, aka the beloved Olivia Benson, who is now known for her longer brunette locks. However, she has undergone several different eras with her hair; she sported various shorter styles over the first 10 seasons of "SVU."
