Tax revenues of €131 billion in the first three months, up 0.7% says MEF - Business - Ansa.it

In the January-March 2026 period, tax revenue assessed on an accruals basis amounted to €131,413 million, an increase of €891 million compared to the same period of the previous year (+0.7%), according to the Bulletin published on the website of the Ministry of Economy and Finance's (MEF) Finance Department.

Specifically, direct taxes amounted to €76,308 million (-€426 million, or -0.6%) and indirect taxes amounted to €55,105 million (+€1,317 million, or +2.4%).

In March alone, total revenues amounted to 39,644 million (+1,204 million, +3.1%).
