In the January-November 2025 period, tax revenue assessed on an accruals basis amounted to €530.6 billion, an increase of €11.3 billion compared to the same period of the previous year (+2.2%), the economy and finance ministry (MEF) said Monday.
Direct taxes amounted to €294.8 billion (just under €1.5 billion more, or 0.5%) and indirect taxes amounted to €235.7 billion (+€9.8 billion, or +4.3%).
These data were reported in the Bulletin of the Finance Department of the MEF.
In November alone, tax revenues increased by €1.92 billion (+3.4%) to nearly €59 billion: direct taxes increased by €545 million (+1.9%) to €28.6 billion, while indirect tax revenues grew by €1.37 billion (+4.7%) to €30.3 billion.
