Medical and Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha on Tuesday said that public welfare remains the foremost objective of the State government and reiterated its commitment to the inclusive development of all sections of society.
Addressing a programme organised under Jogipet-Andol municipality under the aegis of the District Women and Child Welfare Department as part of the 99-day Praja Palana programme, the Minister said the government was taking steps to further strengthen the Anganwadi system. The Minister distributed free scooters to 10 differently abled persons, and smartphones to 286 Anganwadi teachers.
