Simon Weaver has been in charge of Harrogate since 2009
Harrogate manager Simon Weaver has praised his players and hopes they will not be "scarred" by relegation from the English Football League.
Saturday's defeat at home to Barnet on Saturday confirmed their return to non-league football after six seasons as they finished 23rd in League Two.
Weaver, who has been in charge of the club for 17 years, has backed his squad to recover quickly.
"There are some young, impressionable lads and I don't want them scarred from [relegation]," he told BBC Radio York.
