Sign language and visual aids were used, and placements were held. In 2016, a basic IT certification programme, along with placements, was started for the visually challenged. This year, courses, including short-term and advanced ones, in puberphonia were being launched.

Dr. Kumaresan said that allied health science students were eligible for the short-term certificate and advanced certificate courses. They would also provide training for doctors.
