ToplineKylie Jenner was hit with another lawsuit by a former housekeeper—the second such suit in two weeks—accusing her of failing to help after she complained of racial discrimination from Jenner’s staff, and claiming she was pressured to work while grieving her brother’s recent death, among other allegations. The latest lawsuit comes two weeks after another former housekeeper filed a lawsuit against Jenner and her staff. She alleged she was made to work shortly after the sudden death of her brother. “Instead of acknowledging her brother’s passing or accommodating her, Defendants ignored her message, criticized [her] housekeeping performance in a group chat, and pressured Plaintiff to report to work immediately,” the suit says. Soto says she finally left her job in August 2025, telling her managers in a text message: “I am sorry, I cannot do this anymore, every day you guys mistreat me, and I have bitten all my nails off, I cannot sleep at nights, and I always have anxiety because of the way you guys treat me. No matter what I did no one helped me.” Key BackgroundThe new lawsuit comes two weeks after Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, another former housekeeper for Jenner, filed a lawsuit against Jenner and other staff, making similar allegations. Jenner is not accused of bullying Vasquez in the lawsuit, but the suit alleges she was subject to “severe harassment” while working for Jenner, who allegedly “failed to take immediate and appropriate corrective action to stop the conduct.” She alleged she was “mocked” by staff members for her accent and treated as “inferior because of her Salvadoran background,” treated with “hostility and exclusion” by the head housekeeper, and was not compensated for overtime work. She also claimed she was made to work in “Jenner's boyfriend's residence on multiple occasions,” also possibly referring to Chalamet, though she alleged she was not compensated for transportation costs. Both women are asking for unspecified damages.Forbes ValuationJenner is worth $670 million, according to Forbes’ latest estimates, placing her at No. 52 on Forbes’ 2025 list of the richest self-made women in America. Forbes previously named Jenner a billionaire in 2019 after she sold 51% of Kylie Cosmetics to beauty company Coty, but a year later, she was removed from Forbes’ billionaire list after filings showed Jenner had inflated the value of her business.
