At the time, Wood reacted on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Yes, take the piss for sure - that’s what the show is about - but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”This week, however, the British actor took a more playful approach in a promo for her upcoming hosting stint on “Saturday Night Live UK.” In the clip, she pokes fun at the situation after walking in on a group of the show’s writers all covering their mouths.“Hi guys! Oh my God, I’m so excited. I cannot wait to get started, you know, especially after the whole thing in America with the teeth,” Wood says in the promo. “So it’s gonna feel good to just wipe the slate clean.”When she notices their covered mouths, she immediately assumes: “Oh my God, have you guys got fake teeth in?”“Wow, this is all just one big setup to humiliate me then?"
