Barry Keoghan is finally addressing those rumors about infidelity during his relationship with Sabrina Carpenter.
The "Saltburn" star is opening up about stepping back from the spotlight amid talk of cheating on the singer, telling the "Friends Keep Secrets" podcast that, along with commentary on his appearance, the negativity has impacted his life.
"I came off Instagram and social profiles. I've stopped going to events. I've stopped just socializing," Keoghan, 33, said in the April 28 episode. "And again, it's because there was a narrative out there that was never really sort of even spoken on, a narrative that's not true, and I never confirmed or said anything about it. And I just disappeared."
"The Beatles" actor and the "Espresso" singer purportedly dated for about a year before reports of them splitting surfaced in December 2024. Carpenter, 26, never commented on the rumors.
