Scott Jennings called Tucker Carlson a “moron” on Tuesday for saying he was sorry that he misled people into voting for Donald Trump after the president started a war against Iran. (Watch the video below.)

CNN host Kasie Hunt noted a 67% disapproval of the conflict, and turned to Carlson as an example of the “splintering in [Trump’s] MAGA base.”

On “The Arena,” she replayed Carlson’s viral interview in which he said he would be tormented by his backing of Trump in 2024 for a long time. “I’m sorry for misleading people,” he said. “It was not intentional.” He previously called the Trump-led aggression “disgusting and evil.”

Hunt turned to Jennings, one of CNN’s more polarizing GOP pundits, for his response.

“Is his preference that Kamala Harris had become the president of the United States... And what’s he sorry for?” Jennings said. “That we got into an engagement here that might ultimately lead to taking away nuclear weapons?”
