April 20 (UPI) -- Roman Reigns was successful in defeating CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 42 on Saturday.
Reigns and Punk went to war in a lengthy and highly-competitive match to close out the two-day event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Punk found himself in trouble during the match when his legs got tied up in the top rope. Reigns took advantage of the situation and delivered multiple Superman Punches to a defense-less Punk.
