Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Roman Reigns, fresh off of winning the 2026 Royal Rumble, challenged World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to a WrestleMania title match on Raw.

Reigns outlasted 30 other WWE stars to win the Royal Rumble on Saturday, giving him the chance to challenge any world champion to a title bout at WrestleMania 42, which takes place April 18 and April 19 in Las Vegas.

Reigns chose Punk during a war of words that took place in the middle of the ring during Raw's final segment on Monday.
