Police are investigating Ruby Rose’s allegation that Katy Perry sexually assaulted her in a Melbourne nightclub in 2010.

“Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,” police told HuffPost in a statement Wednesday. “Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”

On Monday, Rose, known for her role in “Orange Is the New Black,” responded to a Threads post about Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance, writing that Perry sexually assaulted her at a nightclub in Melbourne, adding, “Who gives a shit what she thinks.”

Someone on Threads asked her to elaborate, to which Rose responded, “After it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person. Instead I got attacked by.. everyone.”

Rose alleged that Perry pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed “her disgusting vagina” on Rose’s face.
