Senior leader T. Jeevan Reddy’s decision to quit the Congress party has drawn a measured response from T. Jagga Reddy, working president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), who termed the development “painful.”
He said it was unfortunate that a senior Congress leader like Jeevan Reddy had chosen to leave the party after remaining loyal to both the Congress party and its leadership.
He expressed the view that it would have been better if the Delhi leadership had directly intervened and resolved the matter. “That is my personal opinion,” he said.
