Senior YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader T.G. Suresh was suspended from the party over alleged anti-party activities, according to an official press release on Wednesday.

Suresh, who earlier served as chairperson of the A.P. Mudaliyar Corporation, is facing allegations of harassment of a Dalit woman in Chittoor. A case has been registered against him at the II-Town police station in connection to this. Suresh is widely known as a staunch follower of former Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy.
