RIYADH: The Saudi Community Service Center, affiliated with the Saudi aid agency KSrelief, has concluded its 36th training and educational course at the Zaatari refugee camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan.
The three-month program saw 255 participants take part in courses covering various crafts and practical skills, including sewing, embroidery, drawing and culinary arts, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
The course also offered tutoring for students from primary to secondary levels, along with literacy programs, Qur’anic studies, Islamic etiquette and English language lessons.
Meanwhile, KSrelief has launched a project to rehabilitate a school and social facilities in Arbin, in Rif Dimashq governorate of Syria.
The project includes reconstructing and equipping the damaged section of a girls’ vocational secondary school to provide a safe, well-rounded learning environment.
