Defence Minister Guido Crosetto will report to the Lower House on the Iran war on Tuesday while it will be Premier Giorgia Meloni's turn to address parliament on Thursday when she will talk about the government's renewed agenda after its justice reform was rejected in last month's referendum and the resignation of three members of the executive, including former Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè.

Among the issues Crosetto will talk about is his recent decision to refuse permission for US bombers to land at the the Sigonella air base in Sicily.

"It was human beings like us who decided that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were acceptable ways to end a conflict.

"Unfortunately, we continue to have nuclear weapons, and those who don't have them, are trying to get them.
