Newly released body camera footage from Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest last week revealed that the pro golfer told a deputy he was speaking with “the president” following his rollover crash, before he was taken into custody.
The footage, published by WPBF, shows Woods talking on the phone with someone before a deputy asks him to come back to the police cruiser.
“Mr. Woods,” the officer says, directing him to come back to the vehicle. “Can I get you to hang out down here with us, please?”
“Thank you so much. All right. You got it. Bye,” Woods is heard saying.
“Yeah, I was just talking with the president,” he casually tells the deputy.
