President Donald Trump is not among those admonishing Tiger Woods or expressing fear after the famed golfer's latest car accident.
Trump told the New York Post he spoke to Woods after the golfer was arrested for suspicion of DUI following a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida on March 27.
“I think he’s doing great, he’s doing good,” Trump told the New York Post during a phone interview. But Trump, referring to Woods' physical ailments over the years, also said the golfer, "lives a life of pain.''
Woods also has a history of incidents when he's been behind the wheel of a car.
Woods, 50, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in 2017 and suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle car crash in 2021. He also was cited for careless driving in 2009 after crashing into a fire hydrant and tree in front of his home in Florida.
