March 31 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods sweat profusely and possessed hydrocodone pills after his rollover crash that led to a DUI charge, according to his arrest affidavit.
Woods was booked on driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit a lawful test charges Friday night at Martin County Jail in Stuart, Fla. He has a court appearance scheduled for 8:30 a.m. April 23 at the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart.
The affidavit, obtained from the Martin County Sheriff's Office, said Woods told deputies he was looking at his cellphone and changing the radio station and didn't realize that the truck in front of him had "slowed down" before his black Land Rover hit a trailer being pulled by the Ford F-150 on Friday in Jupiter Island, Fla.
Woods then lost control of the Land Rover and it flipped flipped on its driver's side. No injuries were reported. The trailer suffered an estimated $5,000 worth of damage, sheriff's deputies said.
One deputy wrote he observed "several signs of impairment" when speaking to Woods after the crash. Another said Woods was "sweating profusely" while sitting in the back of a vehicle, which had cool air flowing. Deputies also observed that Woods' movement was "lethargic and slow" and "limping and stumbling."
