March 31 (UPI) -- Euphoria Season 3 is one of several upcoming TV series and films featuring transgender actors.
The drama series following a group of troubled teenagers will have a five-year time jump when it returns for a third season April 12 on HBO Max.
Transgender actress Hunter Schafer returns to star as Jules Vaughn, a classmate and love interest of Rue Bennett (Zendaya). Other cast members include Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Colman Domingo.
