Rain lashed parts of the city including - Ameerpet, Begumpet and Nizampet - while people in some other parts of Hyderabad heard loud thunder on Friday night. The India Meteorological Department - Hyderabad Centre - in its bulletin issued in the afternoon had forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds in the city towards evening or night over the next 48 hours.
