Braden Peters, the controversial manosphere influencer who goes by "Clavicular," has been arrested in Florida.
Peters, 20, was arrested Thursday, March 26, in Fort Lauderdale on a battery charge, according to jail records viewed by USA TODAY. His expected release date is listed as April 10 with a $1,000 bail. His charge is pending trial.
A source close to Peters told USA TODAY on Friday that the bail was being paid and that the arrest stemmed from an incident that happened over a month ago. The source alleged that Peters was not directly involved, but that it was a fight between his girlfriend, Violet, and a fellow influencer, Jenny Popach, whom she accused of having an affair with Clavicular. The incident was caught on camera, according to the source.
USA TODAY has reached out to Popach and the Broward County Sheriff's office for comment. A representative for Violet was not immediately available.
