March 27 (UPI) -- No. 6 Amanda Anisimova, a two-time Grand Slam finalist, split with coach Rick Vleeshouwers, the American tennis star announced Friday on Instagram.
Anisimova lost to No. 12 Belinda Bencic of Switzerland in the Round of 16 of the Miami Open on Monday in Miami Gardens, Fla. She made her first Grand Slam final in July at Wimbledon 2025.
Anisimova also went to the 2025 U.S. Open finale in September, when she lost to top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus.
She advanced to her first Australian Open quarterfinal in January, when she lost to fellow American Jessica Pegula.
