Five asteroids, including one the size of a house, will approach Earth within the next two days.
On Wednesday, March 25, the asteroids, the size of a car, an airplane, and two more the size of buses, will pass near Earth, according to NASA. Then on Thursday, March 26, another the size of a house will approach.
The asteroid that will move closest to Earth, named 2026 FM3, is about 15 feet (the size of a car) and will be about 148,000 miles away on its closest approach to our planet, according to NASA. The asteroid will be closer to the Earth than the moon, which is, on average, about 239,000 miles away.
The other meteors mentioned above will be between 1.1 million and 4.4 million miles away.
The asteroids will pass by Earth weeks after another asteroid, 2026 EG1, passed Earth on March 12, days after its discovery, according to Space.com.
