Serpentine queues at fuel stations in Hyderabad were observed on the second consecutive day. People were seen waiting outside few petrol bunks from early morning of Wednesday ( March 25, 2026).

Motorists and auto drivers waiting for their turn in long queues was observed from Tuesday (March 24, 2026) morning, which continued late in the night. People driving two- and four-wheelers continued to pour into the fuel stations, adding to rows of serpentines queues. As vehicles huddled and spilled on to main roads, traffic moved at a slow pace near the petrol bunks in the midnight.

This continued on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) morning too. Motorists waiting at a petrol bunk in Ameerpet said they have been waiting from 4 a.m., before the outlet opened.

At least three rows of queues were seen at a fuel outlet in Begumpet. An auto driver, D Srinivas, said he has been waiting from 5 a.m. “Since I couldn’t take the regular customers, I asked my friend to drop them and I have been waiting here. I came from Gajularamaram to here as most of the LPG outlets are in Begumpet,” said Mr. Srinivas, adding he is losing customers at least for three hours everyday.
