If CNN takes a rightward turn in the pending takeover by Paramount Skydance, Rahel Solomon won’t be a part of it.
The host of the 5 a.m. “Early Start” announced Monday that March 27 will be her last day at the news network.
“Now, to some personal news. I have decided that this will be my last week at CNN,” she said. “More to come on what’s next for me, but I’m really excited about this next chapter,” Solomon said.
“For now, a huge HUGE thank you to the team here on ‘Early Start,’” she continued. “We have covered some major breaking news during our hours. And I am so proud to have worked alongside you. To the larger team here at CNN, I’m gonna be cheering you on. I look forward to watching. It has been such an honor, truly, to serve as a business correspondent for CNN.”
Solomon gave no reason for her departure.
