The Language School of Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry(IJCCI) will begin a special 40-hour programme for schoolchildren aged 8-17 in April.

The course includes spoken Japanese, lessons to learn from Japanese school children, group behaviour, Japanese songs, origami , calligraphy, haiku and Japanese games.

Classes will be held at IJCCI premises in Teynampet from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Certificates will be issued to participants of the course, a press release from IJCC said.

A Japanese language Online Beginners Course will also be held on Sundays, comprising spoken and written Japanese, Japanese culture and business etiquette.
