In an innovative move aimed at improving communication skills and language proficiency among schoolchildren, the Government Middle School at Thennur in Tiruchi has introduced the Conversation Log method into its language learning curriculum.
The initiative, targeted at students from Classes 5 to 8, encourages them to maintain a daily log of conversations, both within and outside the classroom. The approach is designed to foster real-life communication, helping children improve their vocabulary and grammar, and gain confidence in both spoken and written English as well as Tamil.
