RIYADH: Arabian Travel Market, a major international tourism and trade show, has been postponed by three months from its originally scheduled May dates due to safety and well-being concerns.

According to a press release, the event, which marks its 33rd edition, will now take place from Aug. 17 to 20, remaining at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The decision to move ATM comes amid a wave of postponements and cancelations impacting the region’s events calendar in the wake of the US-Israel war with Iran.

The Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix have been called off for April, with Formula 1 determining it is unsafe to race due to the ongoing conflict; the season will now see a five-week gap.

The uncertainty has also led crypto conference TOKEN2049 to push its Dubai edition back to 2027, while the Fanatics Flag Football Classic has been moved from Riyadh to Los Angeles.
