U.S. Treasury yields moved lower to start the week as investors monitored oil prices amid the U.S.-Iran war and looked ahead to the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision this week.

The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield was more than 3 basis points lower at 4.253%, while the 30-year Treasury bond shed less than 2 basis points to yield 4.889%. The 2-year Treasury note yield was down more than 4 basis points, reaching 3.692%.

One basis point is equal to 0.01%, and yields and prices move in opposite directions.
