For 21 years, Amid Murtuzov lived only a few dozen kilometers from Iran. He was born and raised in Jalilabad, a village in southern Azerbaijan, until he immigrated to Israel in 2007, where he worked in construction for nearly two decades. His life ended on Monday, thousands of kilometers from the Islamic Republic, when an Iranian cluster missile hit the building site in Yehud, a city in central Israel where he was working.
