A mother and daughter have been rescued from waist-deep wet sand in Southend-on-Sea.
Adventure Island said one of their managers spotted the pair stranded in the Three Shells Lagoon just after 5pm on Tuesday (10 March), "waist-deep and stuck in wet sand that had recently been placed there by the council, with the tide coming in."
Workshop staff brought ropes to secure around them and pull them to safety, while a team member alerted the Coastguard, the theme park added.
