Alleged mafia boss Emanuele Gregorini, known as "Dollarino," arrived in Italy Tuesday, having been extradited from Colombia.
He is a defendant in the Milan proceedings concerning an alleged alliance between members of the three mafias—Cosa Nostra, Camorra, and 'Ndrangheta—which arose from the "Hydra" investigation by the Milan DDA and the Carabinieri Investigative Unit.
Gregorini, as stated in a statement by Prosecutor Marcello Viola, is "considered a member of the 'Lombardy mafia system' in his capacity as a representative of the 'Roman' Camorra clan." The alleged boss "had left Italy a few days before the ruling of the Court of Cassation in January 2025, which rejected the appeals filed by the suspects, effectively enforcing the precautionary measure of the Review Court, and had thus certified the existence of a single mafia organization operating in Lombardy composed of members" of the three mafias.
Gregorini, explained Prosecutor Viola, "had first taken refuge in Brazil, then in Panama, and then, starting on February 2nd, settled in Colombia," where he was arrested on March 17th, 2025.
Today, on "a flight from Bogotá," he arrived at Milan Linate Airport, escorted by personnel from the Service for International Police Cooperation.
