The Kothawalchavadi Police arrested a man for stealing a box of chocolates from a vehicle while goods were being unloaded at a shop in Kothawalchavadi.
On Friday morning, a loadman named Saravanan was unloading goods from a delivery vehicle at a grocery shop when an unidentified person allegedly stole a box of KitKat chocolates worth about ₹9,000 from the vehicle.
Following a complaint lodged by Ratanlal, the owner of the grocery shop, the police registered a case and launched an investigation. The police arrested Yuvaraj, 36, a resident of Old Washermenpet. The stolen box of chocolates was recovered from him.
