Costumed revelers filled Jerusalem's streets and shelters while the Old City, usually packed during Ramadan nights, remained deserted
On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, near Mahane Yehuda in Jerusalem, a vehicle belonging to Bratslav Hasidim, armed with giant speakers, blared: "No stress and no worry / The Holy One, blessed be He, He runs the show." Hundreds of young people and teenagers, most of them in costume and semi-drunk, danced around the vehicle and blocked the street.
