I first heard the name Ali Khamenei at an event that took place outside Israel. In 1994, I was sent by the Rabin government to bolster the spirits of the Jewish community in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A Lebanese terrorist had just murdered 85 people in an attack that took place in the building housing their community center.
