March 2 (UPI) -- The Cincinnati Bengals signed right guard Dalton Risner to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed that the deal is worth up to $5 million. Risner, 30, joined the Bengals as a free agent last off-season when he signed a one-year, $1.3 million contract.

The 6-foot-5, 312-pound offensive lineman appeared in 101 games through his first seven seasons. He spent his first four years with the Denver Broncos.

Risner, who played for the Minnesota Vikings in 2023 and 2024, was Pro Football Focus' No. 23 guard among those who were in for at least 50% of the maximum snaps played at the position last season. He ranked No. 16 as a pass blocker and No. 19 as a run blocker, among qualifying players.

Risner ranked No. 41 among qualifying guards in 2023, the last time he appeared in more than 10 games in a season.
