Three persons including a police constable were arrested within 50 hours of the operation for the most daring broad day light ATM van heist which took place on November 19.
The police have seized ₹5.7 crore and arrested three people out of 30 detained and questioned on suspicion. The arrested were identified as police constable Annappa Naik, cash van fleet in-charge Gopal Prasad, and J. Xavier, a former employee of the cash transport company.
The accused had planned the heist three months ago and conducted recce to identify areas where there are no CCTV coverage, officials told The Hindu.

As many as 200 policemen have been deployed and were dispatched in different directions to track down others who are on the run.
