Pakistan bombed major cities in Afghanistan. including the capital Kabul, on Friday (February 27, 2026), with Islamabad’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif declaring the neighbours at “open war” following months of tit-for-tat clashes.
Following the deadly clash, Afghanistan’s Government said on Friday (February 27, 2027) it wanted “dialogue” to resolve its conflict with neighbouring Pakistan.

Pakistan’s latest ‘ Operation Ghazab lil Haq’ came after Afghan forces attacked Pakistani border troops on Thursday (February 26, 2026) night over earlier air strikes by Islamabad.
