Officers save child and dog thrown from burning building by desperate mother

Bodycam footage captures the moment that police officers caught a little girl and a dog after they were thrown from the top of a burning building in California. Video released by Milpatas Police Department on Tuesday (24 February) shows officers running towards the engulfed apartment building, which had thick plumes of smoke rising from it. Arriving at the property, the doors to enter were blocked by raging flames. They then shouted up at the trapped residents and told them to safely toss down the child and the dog from the second floor. The force said firefighters arrived shortly after and helped other people get off the patio. No serious injuries were reported.
