A private complaint (PCR) has been lodged before the court of the VII Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) in Bengaluru seeking criminal action against five senior officials, including Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao, and City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh, among others, over the demolition of houses at Kogilu Layout in December 2025.
Other officers named in the complaint include Karee Gowda, Chief Executive Officer, Bangalore Solid Waste Management Ltd. (BSWML); Pommala Sunil Kumar, Commissioner, North City Corporation, and Jagadeesha G., DC, Bengaluru Urban.
