Nevada officials have provided more details about the death of 58-year-old social media personality and activist Shirley Raines.

Raines, the founder of the nonprofit organization Beauty 2 The Streetz, known as Ms. Shirley, died on Tuesday, Jan. 27. Her sister previously told TMZ that she was discovered at her Nevada residence during a wellness check. Beauty 2 The Streetz confirmed her death in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed with USA TODAY that the Compton native died from hypertensive heart disease, and the manner of death was natural.

In Beauty 2 The Streetz's Instagram post about Raine's death, the nonprofit said, "Ms. Shirley dedicated her life to serving others and made an immeasurable impact on homeless communities throughout Los Angeles and Nevada."
