Feb. 16 (UPI) -- The Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants begins streaming on Paramount+ Tuesday.
The animated film, which arrived in theaters Dec. 19, is a spinoff of the 1999 Nickelodeon series and follows Spongebob's quest to "be a big guy."
"Spongebob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman, a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate, on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea..." an official synopsis reads.
Voice cast members include Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, George Lopez, Isis "Ice Spice" Gaston, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, Regina Hall and Mark Hamill.
