Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Colorado sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a "kangaroo" on the loose in a residential neighborhood and found a wallaby with an Instagram following.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday on social media that deputies "recently responded to a call no one had on their bingo card -- a kangaroo on the run in a Highlands Ranch neighborhood."

They arrived in the neighborhood to find the animal was already being returned home by its owners.
