Aperiod of legal residence of at least five years, certified knowledge of the Italian language, availability of housing that meets health and hygiene standards, and financial availability similar to that required for family reunification are the four "cumulative" conditions for obtaining supplementary protection set out in the immigration bill approved by cabinet Wednesday.
