MILAN — With the figure skating team event complete and Team USA winning gold, it’s time for the disciplines to take center stage at the 2026 Winter Olympics, starting with the ice dance.

The rhythm dance is today and kicks off what’s expected to be a fiery, close battle for the podium. Team USA has its top pair in Madison Chock and Evan Bates, going for their first ice dance medal. They’ll have to contend with Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri (Italy), Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier (Canada), and Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson (Great Britain). Also skating for the U.S. is the duo of Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko.
